Vyborgskaya metro station opens after renovation

Metro station Vyborgskaya has been opened after renovation that lasted for 11 months. St. Petersburg's vice governor who was in attendance noticed that efficient work of a project team allowed to save up to 40 million rubles.

Station's vital structural parts have been restored including escalator, lighting, water resistance etc. Passenger gates also been replaced to a newer model Ut-96m designed and made by CJSC ELSY. Station's walls have been treated with a special anti-vandal solution. Fireproofing system has been upgraded along with equipping all staff areas with access control system.
