The Baumanskaya station of Moscow metro was opened after overhaul

In Moscow after renovation opened the metro station «Baumanskaya» Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line.
Station «Baumanskaya» was closed in February 2015. According to the plan as part of the reconstruction had to be replaced by escalators, a life which ended. Now the station will operate four escalators instead of three. Also on Baumanskaya renovated lobby, installed new ticket office and turnstiles, upgraded utilities and repaired the facade of the lobby to the ground. Passenger gates were also replaced with a newest model UT-2005 developed and installed by CJSC ELSY.
On the website of subway it is noted that after the reconstruction capacity of station will increase by almost 7.6 thousand passengers per hour (26.4 per cent). Total passenger traffic at Baumanskaya is 100 thousand people a day.
