Metro station "Pushkinskaya" opens after renovation

Entrance hall of metro station "Pushkinskaya" has been reopened for passenger use in early hours this morning. Deputy governor of St.Petersburg Igor Albin made a short appearance at the even to congratulate construction team with this milestone.

Entrance hall renovation has been in works for almost 19 months but it did not cause closure of underground station. Entrance and exit of passengers was temporarily organised through nearby station "Zvenigorodskaya". Ground level hall now fully accessible to passengers with limited mobility without compromising historic looks of the station. Along with other enhancements renovated passenger hall was fitted with updated gates made by CJSC ELSY.
